Larkspire Law
Terms of use
Last updated September 27, 2026.
These terms cover this website and the inquiry form on it. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us at contact@larkspirelaw.com.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Racine Staub PLLC, a New York professional limited liability company practicing as Larkspire Law. Our principal office is at 122 Grand Street, New York, NY 10013. Telephone (332) 310-3803. Larkspire, Inc. is a legal technology company. It builds software for law firms and gives fraud victims a free Honest Assessment before they engage a lawyer. The Honest Assessment, Larkspire DIY tools and the tax package are provided by Larkspire, Inc. They are not legal or tax advice and create no attorney-client relationship. Larkspire Law acts only for people who sign its engagement letter. You are free to use any lawyer.
2. This website is not legal advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal advice, and it is not advice about your situation. Laws differ by state and change over time. Do not act, or decide not to act, on anything here without advice from a lawyer who knows your facts.
3. Writing to us does not make us your lawyer
Sending an inquiry, or receiving a reply from us, does not create an attorney-client relationship. We become your lawyers only when you and Racine Staub PLLC have both signed an engagement letter. Until then, we have not agreed to represent you, and no deadline in your case is being watched by us. If you have a deadline, act on it as if we were not involved.
4. What happens to what you send us
We read every inquiry. We keep what you send confidential, and we use it only to decide whether and how we can help you, and to reply. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside the firm, Larkspire, Inc. (which prepares the free Honest Assessment) and the service providers described in our privacy notice (opens in a new tab). Sending us information does not stop us from acting for someone else in an unrelated matter, but we will never use what you sent against you.
5. Honest answers, no promises
The Honest Assessment tells you plainly whether your case looks worth pursuing. We never promise that money will be recovered. No firm can, and any firm or “recovery service” that does is lying to you. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
6. Fees
Nothing on this site creates an obligation to pay us anything. Fees are agreed only in a signed engagement letter. Our published fees and what they cover are at larkspirelaw.com/fees, and we honor published fees for at least 90 days after they last appear on the site.
7. Attorney advertising
This website is attorney advertising under the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. Any sample documents, scenarios or explainer shown on this site depict a fictional client and fictional events, dramatized for illustration.
8. Protect yourself
We only ever write to you from an address ending in larkspirelaw.com. We never call first, never ask for payment in cryptocurrency or gift cards, and never ask for a fee to “release” recovered money. If someone contacts you claiming to be us and does any of these, it is not us. Please tell us at contact@larkspirelaw.com.
9. Using this site
You may use this site for your own information and to contact us. You may not copy it for commercial use, interfere with it, or use it to send anything unlawful or abusive. We may change the site or these terms at any time; the date at the top tells you when we last did.
10. Liability
We provide this website as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on general information on it. Nothing here limits our responsibility to a client under a signed engagement letter, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about this website is to be brought in the courts of New York County, New York.
